چکیده

Endophytic persistence of inoculated plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) involves interaction with the host and host’s indigenous endophytic bacterial communities. This study investigated Methylobacterium oryzae CBMB20 into rice endosphere together impact inoculation on diversity community structure root shoot endophytes in Oryza sativa L. spp. indica cv. IR29. Terminal Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (T-RFLP) analysis showed that M. was able to integrate persist without causing drastic shifts composition. The communities are very similar seeds IR29, suggesting most them seed-borne. uninoculated IR29 plants more diverse compared shoots terms richness indices. dominant T-RFs belong Microbacterium, Delftia, Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas Stenotrophomonas, Herbaspirillum, Enterobacter, Sphingomonas, as observed three restriction enzyme T-RFLP profiles. Bacterial clades identified Curtobacterium, were distinctly both communities, these groups also endosphere. could incorporate long-term antagonistic interactions its native microbiota.

Identification of predominant epiphytic and endophytic bacterial isolates in rice seeds effective for enhancement of seed germination and plant growth

ABSTRACT-During rice growing season, the symptomless rice seeds from different paddy fields in Guilan province, Iran, were collected. After isolation of epiphytic and endophytic bacteria, 39 isolates including 19 epiphytes and 20 endophytes were selected based on the predominant characteristics. Five Operational Taxonomic Units (OTUs) were obtained based on PCR-RFLP of 16S r-DN...

Response of leaf endophytic bacterial community to elevated CO2 at different growth stages of rice plant

Plant endophytic bacteria play an important role in plant growth and health. In the context of climate change, the response of plant endophytic bacterial communities to elevated CO2 at different rice growing stages is poorly understood. Using 454 pyrosequencing, we investigated the response of leaf endophytic bacterial communities to elevated CO2 (eCO2) at the tillering, filling, and maturity s...

Untapped Endophytic Colonization and Plant Growth-Promoting Potential of the Genus Novosphingobium to Optimize Rice Cultivation

With the aim of searching for potent diazotrophic bacteria that are free of public health concerns and optimize rice cultivation, the endophytic colonization and plant growth-promoting activities of some endophytic diazotrophic bacteria isolated from rice were evaluated. Among these bacteria, the emerging diazotrophic strains of the genus Novosphingobium effectively associated with rice plant i...

Endophytic bacteria in the rice plant.

Endophytic bacteria are defined as bacteria detected inside surface-sterilized plants or extracted from inside plants and having no visibly harmful effects on the plants. Various kinds of endophytic bacteria, such as Pantoea, Methylobacterium, Azospirillum, Herbaspirillum, Burkholderia and Rhizobium etc., have been found inside rice plants. This minireview summarizes and discusses recent studie...

Endophytic bacterial communities of field-grown potato plants and their plant-growth-promoting and antagonistic abilities.

To study the effect of plant growth on potato-associated bacteria, the composition and properties of bacteria colonizing the endosphere of field-grown potato were analyzed by a multiphasic approach. The occurrence and diversity of potato-associated bacteria were monitored by a cultivation-independent approach, using terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis of 16S rDNA. The pat...
